At times argument over trivial issues can turn dangerous. The case in point is an incident that took place not very far from Okhla on Sunday morning. Reports have surfaced that how in Badarpur, a youth was stabbed to death with a pair of scissors by two men during an argument over the use of comb with different colours at a barber’s shop.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East) Romil Baaniya said the incident was reported around 10:30 am, when Pawan was at the barber shop near Molarband village for a haircut. The shop is run by two brothers, Raghubir and Navami.
The argument escalated after Pawan picked up a comb being used by Navami and started combing his hair, according to daily reports. Following which Pawan was stabbed several times in the chest and back while Raghubir held on to his hair and arms, said a report.
Locals rushed to the shop hearing Pawan’s calls for help and thrashed the barbers who were handed over to police. Pawan was rushed to a nearby hospital in Sarita Vihar where he was brought dead.
“The barbers will be arrested once they recover. A case of murder has been registered against them,” said DCP (southeast) Romil Baaniya.
A few years ago a man had killed a barber in Shaheen Bagh over not getting haircut first.
