A few people too gathered on the spot. It is understood that the person reportedly a woman was driving the car in high speed and lost control and hit the boy. The boy died on the spot, said the eyewitness.

It is understood that usually after the buses were parked in Noor Nagar where the accident took place, it was job of Aziz to make sure that everything was fine on the buses. And the accident took place while he was doing so.

His body was sent for postmortem to AIIMS.

After the incident the person driving car, who too received injuries on his head, made way from the spot without anybody taking notice leaving the car behind, said the eyewitness, adding that the driver is probably a local person. Papers of the car left behind have been confiscated.

Aziz’s father Salim runs several buses-that ply children to school, said sources.

Residents, who gathered on the spot, were heard attributing the accident to no speed breakers on that stretch. Many residents are shocked that how come the boy who was standing behind the stationary bus was hit.

Earlier, in the day a woman’s body was found from N Block in Abul Fazal Enclave.

Rash driving has been a cause of concern for residents in the locality. A few months ago, a woman pedestrian was killed by a speeding biker in Abul Fazal Enclave. Then the woman was hit as she was crossing the road. A bike hit her from the front and she was rushed to a local hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
