Okhla to pay obeisance to Seemanchal Gandhi Tasleemuddin tomorrow

Muslim political council of India in collaboration with Seemanchal media manch is holding a condolence meeting in memory of late Mohammed Tasleemuddin known as Seemanchal Gandhi on September 23 at 3 pm at Hotel River View in Okhla.

Prominent speaker expected are Sharad Yadav, MP Ali Anwar MP, Tariq Anwar MP, Manoj Jha, Dr Qasim Rasul Ilyas, Abdul Khaluque and others, according to Dr Tasleem Rehmani.

Born on January 4, 1943, Taslimuddin, a veteran RJD leader died on September 17, 2017. He hailed from Sisauna in the Araria district of Bihar and was a veteran Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and party MP from Araria Lok Sabha seat. He was 74 years old and died at a hospital in Chennai due to breathing problem.

Taslimuddin is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters. His son Sarfaraz Alam is an MLA.

The news of his death was mourned in Okhla as many people are from that region.
