Okhla’s Tanveer shines in Assam

1st North East GIMAF Martial Arts Championship 2017 was held on September 23, 24 at Guwahati.

It was organised by Xhinese Shaolin Kung fu Federation of India under the banner of Global International Martial Arts Federation (GIMAF).

GM Bicham Kumar Singha president GIMAF, Tanveerul Islam, general secretary of GIMAF took initiative to manage this grand event. The event saw participation from Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland and upper Assam in sub junior, junior and senior girls, boys’ category, said the GIMAF spokesperson.

Tanveerul, who is from Jamia Nagar, delivered a speech about martial arts development in India. The national GIMAF games are to be held on December 27, 28 and 29.

Chief Guest Retired Joint Commissioner MN Haque appreciated the work done by Tanveerul in promotion of the martial arts across India.
