Sunni Muslims will be offering Eid-ul-Adha prayers behind Shia Imam as part of #ShoulderToShoulder movement launched by two residents of Okhla, Asad Haider Zaidi (+919560489572) and Mazin Khan (+919818120669), who are also alumni of Jamia Millia Islamia.

* Part of the #ShoulderToShoulder movement started last year in Delhi.
* Prayers will be held at Qudsia Mosque, Dargah Shah-e-Mardan, Jor Bagh
* Similar prayers will be held in Lucknow as well at Shah Najaf.
* ISIS wants to divide people, this show of unity is to foil their plans of spreading hatred.

#ShoulderToShoulder is a universal brotherhood movement started last year with the first combined Shia-Sunni Eid-ul-Fitr prayers held at Juma Masjid, Jamia Millia Islamia. This was followed by similar acts of communal harmony like combined Shia-Sunni Eid prayers held at Lucknow and then this year in Delhi, Iftaar at a Gurudwara and Muslims offering refreshments for Kanwariyas in Delhi.

#ShoulderToShoulder believes people are generally good at heart. Love is a stronger emotion than hate. This movement aims to give a positive narrative for people to associate with. They share only positive news on their Facebook page.

Combined prayers are just the first step, #ShoulderToShoulder hopes to have more such activities in other parts of the country too in the coming times.
