Sir Syed Mission School students told about importance of colours in life

Yellow Day was celebrated in Sir Syed Mission School on April 18.

The children wore yellow attire with a yellow toy with them and having yellow dishes for their lunch. The main motto behind this celebration was the differentiation between primary and secondary colour and also celebrating the upcoming summer.

sirsyedokhlaThe students played the role of different characters based on yellow colour such as ‘mango’ the character played by Zaeem of class nursery; sunflower by ‘Aleena’, Juveria played the role of ‘corn’; from class KG Ahil played a character of ‘capsicum’ and Maryam was ‘sun’ and Shareen was sour ‘lemon’.

From class 1st Aaliya became ‘butterfly’, Abdullah played a role of ‘fire’ Khadeeja was ‘duck’ for the yellow day, Huzaifa played a character of ‘tiger’.

Umair was yellow colour of ‘traffic light’, Ibrahim was ‘banana’ and Abdus Samad was yellow colour of the ‘rainbow’ for the celebration, these were the contribution of class 2nd.

Ammar and Shafque of class 3rd played a role of ‘balloon’ and ‘honey-bee’ respectively.

They were wearing sash around their shoulder to display the character which they were playing. The atmosphere of the school was yellowish with all the decoration and participants.

Parents also participated in the event.

Group song both in English and Hindi were performed by students based on yellow day. At the end the principal of the school addressed the students and told them the importance of colours in the life.
