Snatchers target scribes at ITO’s Fleet Street

On Sunday security was beefed up at ITO’s Fleet Street where several national dailies have their office. Moreover, TV reporters were also seen in good number. When asked, a reporter from a TV channel said another snatching case has taken place in the area with journalists filing a complaint with top police official.

It is understood that after which more policemen were recruited in the locality to stop any such incidents in future. Reports have surfaced that a few days ago two senior journalists were targeted by snatchers who robbed them of their mobiles. Some journalists lamented that things need to be brought under control by increasing security in the area.
