Jamia Teachers’ scholarship announced: All you need to know

Notice regarding Applications is invited from regular (full time) students of the Diploma/UG/PG courses of the University for Jamia Teachers’ Scholarship for the session 2017-18 announced.

Those students of Jamia Millia Islamia who are looking for scholarship here is an opportunity for them. The Jamia Teachers’ Association (JTA) has announced scholarship for the session 2017-18.

“Applications on prescribed format are invited from the regular (full-time) students of the Diploma/UG/PG courses of the university for Jamia Teachers’ Scholarship for an academic session 2017-2018. The scholarship shall be awarded by an Awarding Committee on merit-cum-need basis.

“Application forms can be downloaded from Jamia website: and can also be obtained from the officer of Jamia Teachers’ Association. The complete application shall be submitted on or before 13-11-2017 (5:00 pm) at the office of the JTA, 1 st floor, KA Hamied House near Central Canteen on all working days between 10 am and 4 pm.

“Incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected. Those who are availing or getting any other scholarship and fellowship are not eligible,” said the statement issued by the JTA.

JTA has been giving scholarship for years to meritorious students in every session, claimed a source, adding that the purpose is to help needy and meritorious students study hassle free on the campus.
