Kailash Satyarthi’s Noble Peace Prize Citation recovered

The original Noble Peace Prize Citation awarded to Kailash Satyarthi that was stolen from his Aravali Apartments, Kalkaji, on February 7, has been recovered, said police.

It was found from the dense forest area of DDA Ridge Land opposite G- Block Sangam Vihar where the accused persons had dumped it in a bag thinking it as an insignificant item for them, said police.

The replica of the Nobel Prize and original citation awarded to Kailash Satyarthi in 2014, along with other medals, expensive jewellery and other articles, were stolen from his house on February 7.

All other items, including Noble Peace Prize Replica, were already recovered in the case on February 12, said police.

Almost all the valuable stolen articles, including Nobel Peace Prize replica were recovered from the possession of three accused people who were arrested earlier with only missing item being the citation, said police.

After following the case for days, the police team finally tracked the original Noble Prize Citation.
