Okhlaiites march in solidarity over Rohingya atrocities

AMU Old Boys Association and AMU Lawyer Forum took out a Solidarity March from Teen Murti Marg New Delhi to Myanmar Dootawas, at 11 AM against the atrocities committed against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, according to Mohd Aslam Khan Adv, one of the organisers.

Earlier, he said: “I would like to invite your attention about Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar where brutal killing of humanity taking place in the name of particular religious faith. The world is keeping mum in general and Muslim countries in particular. It’s highly condemnable act of Muslim’s countries. Even the UNO is State supported organisation but not taking any heed towards Rohingya community and no line of action has been announced till now to end the genocide.”

Several Muslim organizations have been holding protest march across India demanding end to the killings of Rohingya Muslims in Burma.
