Parvez: Stopped ‘illegal’ ongoing construction work in Shaheen Bagh

The alleged illegal work going on Shaheen Bagh has been stopped, according to youth leader Parvez Alam Khan. He told OKHLATIMES.COM that he went to the spot and even wrote a letter to the SHO Jamia Nagar police station seeking his intervention in the matter.

A letter written by him to the official is in possession of the portal.

“Illegal construction on green belt, groundwater boring and theft of electricity at Shaheen Bagh,

“I wish to draw your kind attention towards illegal construction activities being done by the Flood and Irrigation Department…and mother dairy officials without proper sanction of competent authorities. I went to inspect these illegal constructions and found many irregularities….The NOC given by executive engineer has no sanction by the competent authorities…Several other illegal permanent structures being constructed along Allama Shibli road are obstructing traffic flow.

“I request you to take necessary legal action… and kindly stop the illegal construction with immediate effect, Khan wrote in the letter.

Later he wrote: “आज मैने शाहीन बाग के तुगलकी पार्क के खिलाफ मुहीम शुरु की!बिना किसी permission के पार्क मे ज़बरदस्ती कई दूकान बनाई जारही हैं जिसकी आज मैने पुलिस मे शिकायत की और अगर पुलिस ने कारवाई नहीं की तो मै कोर्ट का दरवाज़ा खट खटाऊंगा!इस पार्क के वजह से सड़क तन्ग किया गया हैं जो शाहीन बाग के लोग यहां के नुमाइंदे को कभी माफ नहीं करेगी”
