Khatoon is sister of Jauwad Hassan, who did his post graduation from MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia.

Residents are shocked with the incident. Adil Anwer wrote: “These under age bikers are mostly idiot and dive without any license. A few months ago same thing happened with me too.”

Many residents lamented that how rogue bikers have made their lives difficult. A few months ago OKHLATIMES had reported about how a girl was hit by a biker on the same route. In that case too nobody came forward as the girl took a rickshaw and went to a local hospital for treatment.

She got hairline fracture on her toe and even after two months she continues to take rest as doctors have suggested her. She is unable to move around and has suffered a lot due to mistake by rogue bikers.

“The problem is that very little is being done against rogue and under aged bikers. The parents are responsible and to address this burning issue it is important that NGOs and religious organizations come forward to create awareness against rash driving. In most of the cases youths and locals are found flouting vehicular laws as many among them don’t even wear helmet,” said Rizwan Ahmad, a resident of Okhla.
