Okhla-based TV journalist grabs headlines for his kind act

Okhla-based TV journalist grabs headlines for his kind act. A TV journalist of Okhla has grabbed headlines in a national daily for his kind act of saving an electrocuted man whom he found lying at Kalindi Kunj Park in Jamia Nagar.

If we go by his version then M Atharuddin Munne Bharti, who resides with his family in Shaheen Bagh, told The Pioneer that he saved the life of an 18-year-old boy by taking him to hospital in time after the boy had been electrocuted near Kalindi Kunj Park.

OKHLATIMES could not authenticate the incident independently, but Munne Bharti, as he is popularly known in the locality, had also posted about the incident on his social media timeline soliciting praise from his online friends and fans.

According to the report, on that day Munne Bharti spotted the youth identified as Satyendra Yadav during his morning walk lying near a transformer in semi-conscious state.

Bharti took Yadav to a local hospital for treatment.

“When I touched his body, I got the shock of my life,” Bharti said. Yadav is no out of danger.
