As Okhla MLA Khan inaugurates 2 Mohalla Clinics in Shaheen Bagh, a resident shares this photo

As Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan inaugurated 2 Mohalla Clinics in Shaheen Bagh on Teusday, a resident share this photo on WhatsApp driving the point about pathetic condition of Jamia Nagar.

badroadshaheenbaghMd Ansar said the situation in Shaheen Bagh is bad with water-logging turning out to be a perennial issue in the locality.

Particularly at the centre of attraction is a lane where water has been logged for days with no respite to residents who are forced to make temporary bridge of bricks.

Md Ansar wrote: “यहाँ के निगम पार्षद और विधायक के कानो पे जूं तक नही रेंग रही। आज शाहीन बाग़ जामिया नगर वार्ड नंबर 102 में खुद से काम करवाया है।”

For days residents have been lamenting about the bad situation in the locality. A resident Md Ansar said a few accidents too have taken place in the locality.

“It was only a few days ago when a car was stuck in the waterlogged street. There is open manhole in between and many people are unaware of. At times their vehicles get stuck. A few days ago a biker got hurt. We rushed to extricate him,” said Md Ansar.

It is understood that now when no officials addressed the issue, some residents, including Md Ansar, have taken on them to address the issue by filling the waterlogged street with bricks.

  1. If govt is not doing anything , what is stopping to clean our own street, every flat cost 50 lacs or more . cant we spare few thousand collectively and take care of at least area in front of our house.

    • Nice Comment Arif bhai, I agree with your thinking. But This is true that in the area people are living in flats of 40-50 lacs but they even dont want to spend 100 rs on garbage , maintenance of their own building, parking etc, Even they dont wanna pay their parking and water bills collectively.

road ki to kya baat hai…..awareness programme chalaya jaye jisse logon ko ahsaas ho ke aap apney aas paas safai nahi rakkhengey to halat aur badtar ho jayegi….

spending 5000 per year on your buildings will make them more lively and beautiful and clean.

      Everyone should think about it.
