Okhla-based Haque’s family meets with road accident; 1 killed, realtor hospitalised

A family of Okhla-based resident met with a car accident a few days ago while they were on a journey from Palamu district to Gaya after meeting relatives, according to senior journalist Faizul Haque.

One died in the road accident and another person sustaining life-threatening injuries.

A resident of Okhla, Faizul told OKHLATIMES.COM that his brother (Okhla resident and realtor Saiful Haque, who also lives in Aligarh) suffered multiple injuries in the accident that took place near Amjharia Bridge on the Partapur Road near Bihar, Jharkhand border after the i20 car that he was travelling on plunged fifteen-feet deep into a gorge near a steep on Friday at around 7 pm.

Another passenger on his car, also his close relative, Sultan Ahmad, died on the spot, said Faizul. Another co-passenger and friend Shaheen was also injured in the incident. While another passenger in the car Farhan Ahmad, son of Sultan Ahmad, miraculously survived the accident, sustaining no injury.

Following the accident, Shaheen lost his conscious, said Faizul, adding that Farhan helped them in restoring their conscience after which Saiful contacted his relatives in Gaya seeking immediate help.

His relatives from nearby Hunterganj and Sherghati rushed to the spot. They were rushed to nearby hospital.
Family members and relatives have expressed concern over road condition in Jharkhand area, said Faizul.
