The Aam Aadmi Party has added a few new faces to its Political Affairs Committee (PAC), the highest decision making body. Though Delhi Chief Minister was re-elected as the National Convener of AAP, the new entrant included Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan in the PAC.
This was the first changes after Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were expelled from the PAC last year. Other fresh faces in the body included: former TV journalist Ashutosh, Atishi Marlena, the lone woman member in the PAC, Durgesh Pathak, Raghav Chadha and Punjab MP Sadhu Singh.
It is to be noted that a few days ago Khan was also made chief of Delhi Wakf Board. Khan had to wait for months to get these posts. In the Assembly elections Khan had won with overwhelming majority by defeating Congress candidate Asif Md Khan, who was then Okhla MLA.
