Simra Hasan, Sara Zaheer and Mahrukh are residents of Okhla and come from different backgrounds. Despite this fact they are united in their dream to make it big in their life. And it was their quest to crack entrance exams of reputed universities, a first step towards fulfilling their dreams that took them to Okhla-based Plasma at Okhla Head.
After being guided in the right direction like many other students of Okhla, they at last succeeded in cracking the entrance exams of Jamia Millia Islamia making their family proud.
“I cracked BA Economics (H) at Jamia and happy to have fulfilled my dream. I want to crack Civil Services after completing my graduation,” said Simra, who did her schooling from Rabia Girls’ Public School in Old Delhi with her father being a businessman.
So is the story of Sara, who too has succeeded in cracking the entrance exam of Jamia. “I always dreamt of becoming a psychologist and hence aimed at it,” said Sara, who studied at Jamia Girls’ Senior School and aims at becoming a counselor with her father an employee at Jamia.
Mahrukh, who is from Shaheen Bagh, said she wanted to become an economist. After doing her +2 from SKV Noor Nagar shool she cracked Economics entrance test and now studies at Jamia’s Economic department. Mahrukh’s father is associated with a publication house.
All these three students said they owe their success to Plasma. “We studied here and it was the guidance of Plasma director Rizwan Khan that helped us in cracking the exams. We are thankful to him,” they said.
Khan is a happy man. “For me there is nothing big than my students cracking entrance exam,” he said.
