Okhla-based digital entrepreneur claims to have launched ‘niche’ portal.

New Delhi based Global Media Publications has launched daily news portal ViewsHeadlines.com.

Among thousands of news portals the ViewsHeadlines.Com is expected to offer something very unique and different to its audience and news world.

While talking about his new venture, Syed Ubaidur Rahman, the CEO of Global Media Publications said that the news portal will not just offer news and views on a host of issues including breaking news, business, technology and latest trends on fashion and entertainment, but a lot more.

“Urdu newspapers’ daily feed in English language will be the most important feature of the ViewsHeadlines.Com. While initially the Urdu newspapers’ news feed in English will be provided to our readers, professionals and media houses free of cost, we will start charging for the service in the near future” says Rahman.

He further says that the news portal has acquired the services of very talented translators who will be translating important daily news from Urdu newspapers into impeccable English language.

Besides, another important feature of the news portal will be its struggle against extremist tendencies among the Indian Muslim society. “While Indian Muslims are inherently opposed to extremism and extremist tendencies, there are efforts on the part of Islamic State and other organizations to infiltrate among the youth of the community. This is the reason that several Muslim organizations have started an awareness campaign against this tendency”, says Rahman who is the author of the well-received book “Understanding the Muslim Leadership in India”.
