Okhla in bad shape: Shakeel shares video

Okhla is in bad shape, according to local leader Shakeelur Rahman. A former AAP member who now has joined AIMIM shared a video of a waterlogged road near Jamia Millia Islamia with OKHLATIMES.COM pointing out the major deteriorating civic issue in the locality.

It was on Sunday when several residents complained of water-logging on the road not only near Jamia but also on Batla House road. It is understood that commuters face hardship while crossing the road. A journalist who even passed by the road said the situation is horrible.

The locality continues to be in bad shape despite several promises being made by representatives to improve the situation, claimed residents. To bring home the point, the local leader, who is to contest as a candidate in the upcoming municipal elections, also shared a video claiming that he grabbed it in the morning at about 10 am. Moreover, the video has been doing the rounds in the locality on the social media since morning.

A few days ago OKHLATIMES.COM had grabbed a photo of water logged Batla House road that was carried by other local leaders too on the social media driving home the point of bad situation in the locality.
