Today, celebrating the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National Secretary and MP from East Delhi Parliamentary Constituency Maheish Girri inaugurated the “Office on Wheels” for convenience of the public and now his office will always be available wherever Girri visit his constituency.
Apart from this, MP Maheish Girri also inaugurated a “Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra” at Zakir Nagar, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, said a statement issued from hi s office.
He addressed all the residents present at the inauguration venue and made them aware about the important programmes run by the Modi Government for public welfare. He said about the Jan Aushadhi that under this programme, people can get required medicine at a very low cost and very easily. Under this program of the Government, generic medicines of top quality are available for public at a discount price of 60 to 70 percent in comparison to the market price. The Government even gives grant of Rs.2.5 lakh to start the Jan Aushadhi Kendra and one can even generate employment by opening this Kendra.
On this occasion, cleanliness programmes were organised at Anand Vihar ISBT and Metro Station. Hundreds of BJP workers, office bearers, Municipal Councilors and local people participated.
After the cleanliness programme, the MP visited the local area with the concerned authorities. Thereafter, he held a meeting with the officers. During that meeting the MP issued a letter under the “Office on Wheels” pertaining to construction of a public toilet at Anand Vihar ISBT and the cleanliness arrangement of the local areas. He also met the sweepers deputed at Ananad Vihar ISBT and thanked them for the sanitary arrangements.
MP Maheish Girri said about the “Office on Wheels” that his office will go with him wherever he goes to visit or for meeting or for any other programme. Through this system, the officers will be instructed on the spot in written to do the needful as required by the public. He said that “Office on Wheels” has been started only for the convenience of the public.
