Fasih Ahmad, a Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) alumnus, is in India and looking for people who are interested in opening businesses in China. To attract JMI alumni he posted a message on Facebook on November 28 saying: “Looking for investors/partners for a trading company in China... Interested people may contact.”

Based in Shenzen (China) and Hong Kong and working with Ozone Barter (a barter company of the US) as its CEO – Asia Pacific, Ahmad tells OKHLA TIMES: “What better way than to ask people from my own institution. By virtue of being in China, I have come across numerous trading opportunities from India. Currently I have standing order to supply 20,000 Memory Cards to a buyer in Kanpur, daily, as my sample has been approved.”

Ahmad, who passed out from JMI in 1990, says: “I am supplying 1000 cards daily now, due to finance constraints, as the payment comes back within 3/4 days. Now I wanted to increase the order so thought of looking for investors/partners, with an assured return of 10 – 15 per cent every month.”

He also studied at Jamia Senior Secondary and Diploma in Engineering from the Central University that recently was awarded minority character by the NCMEI.

Born in Lucknow, during his students’ days he lived in the popular SRK hostel that now has been turned into office by the new administration. Also, Ahmad went to St. Francis' College, Lucknow in 1984.

He claims to know English, Hindi, Arabic and Chinese. On his FB account he writes that he earlier also worked as CEO – Licensee Services at Ormita Commerce Network.
