Ailing ex-MP Mohammad Adeeb’s message to his well-wishers (video)

It was a few days ago when this message surfaced on the timeline of Mohammad Adeeb, former Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha. “On behalf of my dad Mohammad Adeeb. To all those trying to get in touch with me: I’ve presently been hospitalised for emergency dialysis. I would like to request you all to kindly remember me in your duas/prayers. Hopefully will be discharged soon and will get accustomed to this new turn of events in my life. Regards Adeeb,” read the message.

Today another message surfaced: “He’s being discharged alhumdulillah but yes dialysis is now going to be the regular feature. So please do keep remembering him in your duas.”

Mohammad Adeeb studied Botany at Aligarh Muslim University and is an active in social and political work and has a large following in Delhi and his hometown in Uttar Pradesh.

Born to Abdul Wahab and Wajida Bano on September 5, 1945 in Lucknow, Mohammad Adeebgot married on March 19, 1971 and has four children, including one son and three daughters. Politician and social worker, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2008 and held several positions in including those of Select Committee to the Wakf (Amendment) Bill, 2010 Member, Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting March 2011 on wards Member, Court of the Aligarh Muslim University and others.
