Spread digital literacy among students: MP Girri to principals on eve of Teachers’ Day

BJP’s National Secretary and Member of Parliament East Delhi, Maheish Girri, on Monday on the eve of Teacher’s Day, met and honoured teachers of private as well as government schools. On this occasion, he praised roles of teachers in making strong India. He emphasised, teachers and education given by them play an important role in life of every individual.

The MP said teacher is a person who helps students to acquire knowledge, competencies or values. He added, Teacher’s Day is the occasion for every student to make his or her teachers special by thanking them for their contribution in our life. Teachers play a very important role in everyone’s life, we acquire quality education and learning from them and which builds strong foundation required for big success in future. His teachings contribute in shaping our life that is why each one of us plays our role in nation building. Without teachings of our teachers our life becomes meaningless.

The MP Maheish Girri appealed to the principals present in the meeting to spread digital literacy among their students by promoting Bhim App, he also appealed them to motivate their students to make Prime Minister’s Swatch Bharat Abhiyan a great success. The MP also invited teachers and students to visit Parliament as well as President House.

Maheish Girri also requested teachers to give their suggestions for making education system more progressive.
