Three teenagers stabbed a stray dog to death on Sunday morning at about 10: 30 PM somewhere between G and F block of Abul Fazal Enclave. Md Wajihuddin, an eyewitness, told OKHLA TIMES that all of a sudden he saw three youth beating up a stray dog. “Initially, I could not make it out. When I saw blood coming out of the dog’s body I realized that the animal was stabbed. They moved in group and after attacking the animal with small knives they fled the area. I don’t know what provoked these boys to kill a poor animal,” he said. After being stabbed, the dog ran helter-skelter for safety. Another resident A Rahman said the dog was bleeding profusely. “The attack was life-threatening as the animal’s intestine had come out. The dog was in great pain.” Before some residents could do anything to save the dog, the panicked animal ran towards the road and it became difficult to trace it. Later on the dog succumbed to its injuries. These teenagers have turned out to be a nuisance in the locality. Sons of illiterate but rich parents they run around the locality picking up fights with other groups. And at times they are also found involved in anti-social activities, claimed a resident on the condition of anonymity. Post a comment Top News
