Team Anna key member Kejriwal comes to OkhlaOT, July 7, 2012 05:05 IST Okhla Times Reporter/Okhla 
Key member of Team Anna Arvind Kejriwal is slated to come to Okhla today. He is to address residents at Okhla Head at about 6 PM, seeking their support in the fight against corruption. His visit comes a day after Team Anna was denied permission to hold protest at Jantar Mantar by the Delhi police. This is not for the first time that members of Team Anna are going to visit Okhla.
Earlier too when the anti-corruption campaign was at its peak in Delhi, some prominent Team Anna members had landed in Okhla to convince religious leaders of the importance of joining the movement. Sources said that they had come to get support of JEIH, a religious organization with presence across the country. During that meeting JEIH leaders had given partial support to the fight against corruption, claimed a source. However, they never shared the podium with Anna Hazare. But local leader Asif Md Khan, RJD MLA, shared the podium with the anti-corruption crusaders in those days. Also, he was in the news for becoming the first politician to resign from his party RJD as claimed by him to reporters. But later when pressed whether his resignation was accepted by the party, he didn’t give a straight answer, raising some doubts about his claim. It is yet not known whether he has resigned or not.
