It is 7.45 P.M on March 25 and work is going as usual at the headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind in Okhla. Security guards are walking up the road. A few workers are busy erecting temporary shelters outside the mosque. The whole campus has been washed by water. All these preparations are being done for the Imam of Grand Haram Sharif in Makkah Shaikh Abdur Rahman Al-Sudais, who is to visit the campus on March 26. Many people are involved in the work to make sure that nothing goes wrong.
It is during this time that a police gypsy pulls up outside the mosque. Four cops, including one lady officer and a traffic cop, steps out of the vehicle. They are carrying notebooks. The cops interact with security guards who are mostly illiterate. They want to know about the visitors and other preparations. Later on senior JEIH employees invite them to the reception where they are briefed about the preparation. It is expected that some 5,000 people will turn up to attend the Zuhar prayer that is going to be lead by the Imam of Haram at 1.05 P.M.
