Of late Delhi has seen wave of crime rocking the city. Unfailingly newspapers and the electronic media have reported about wayward residents committing crime in the city. A few days ago residents were shocked to know about a Delhi cop, who murdered his in-laws before shooting self. Then a report surfaced of a spurned lover. He killed three before shooting self.

As if these two incidents were not enough another report made wave. This time a former army man shot cardiologist after tiff with lover and then on Friday many Delhiites woke up to the news of triple murder in Rohini.

Jamia Nagar too was rocked by one such case after a dead body of a 23-year-old youth was found from Yamuna in Jogabai last week. Fear had gripped the area after word spread that body of one Md Faizan was discovered from the area. The cause of the death was not known. A resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, he was a painter by profession and had gone missing from his house a few days ago.

With crime such as murder low in the locality residents were deeply upset by the development. In recent months a few more dead bodies have been recovered from the locality. Such incidents only raise question: How safe is Delhi?
