I will visit Zakir Nagar tomorrow to meet Amma, said Kapil Mishra. He told OT.COM that he will certainly visit Zakir Nagar tomorrow to meet Amma and will see to it that she gets justice.
It was after watching Pervez Alam Khan’s video on the social media, I was moved with her story, said Kapil Mishra, adding that he will not come at Iftar.
Earlier report had surfaced that Kapil Mishra was to visit Batla House to express his solidarity with Amma, a 72-year-old elderly woman of Zakir Nagar.
Pervez Alam Khan, who is fighting for save Amma campaign in the locality, said the protest at Batla House has been postponed as Amma is unwell.
The Amma story has been doing rounds in the locality with Pervez Alam Khan claiming that efforts are on to forcibly occupy Amma’s property. However, the opposition party has rubbished such claims accusing Pervez and his supporters for mounting pressure on Amma.
Pervez denied the charges and said there is nothing to hide. “I invite journalists and social activists to come and meet Amma and get first-hand information,” he said.
All told both the parties have parked videos on the social media to back up their claims.
