TENSION IN BATLA HOUSE? We will not allow Kapil Mishra to enter Batla House: Okhla AAP leader Mahmood

If you visit Batla House then things are normal. But when you scratch the ground you can feel the tension. Since words spread in the locality of suspended AAP leader Kapil Mishra to visit Batla House in solidarity with a 72-year-old Zakir Nagar resident.

For the last few days the story of the elderly woman is doing the rounds in which Congress leader Pervez Alam Khan has claimed that efforts are on to allegedly occupy her house in Zakir Nagar. Following which there has been tension between Congress workers and AAP leaders with the social media full of claims and counter claims.

It is understood that Pervez Alam Khan, who is at the forefront of the support Amma campaign, had called the protest at Batla House chowk today from 4 PM to 8 PM seeking justice for the elderly, inviting Kapil Mishra.

Earlier, in the day, AAP leader Mahmood said we at no cost we will allow Kapil Mishra to enter in Batla House in Ramzan as he will pollute the environment. Sources said in case if Kapil’s come then chances of clash between Congress supporters and AAP workers are high. There is tension in the locality, said sources.

Both the groups are throwing allegations at each other using the social media. Moreover, to buttress their stand, videos from the both the sides have been parked on the social media in an effort to win hearts and minds of residents.

It was only a few days ago when Pervez Alam Khan, former Congress MLA Asif Md Khan and his supporters had picketed outside the police station the whole day demanding justice for Amma and arrest of those involved in the case.

Later on Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan also jumped in sharing a video on the social media.
