With just a few days left for the April 23 MCD polls, contestants are working overnight to woo voters in their area.
In Okhla’s ward number 101 Sarita Vihar where Congress sitting councillor Nitu is testing her luck for the second term, Juhi Khan has started door-to-door campaign with her die-hard supporters to drum up support.
“A very successful door-to-door campaign has been launched in Taimoor Nagar. People are offering their chaupals for free to us to open offices. The support from them is unbelievable,” said Nabeel Khan.
Besides, launching massive door-to-door campaign the AAP is also showing films on projectors highlighting the party’s work in Delhi in the last two years, said Khan.
“Residents telling us that there is no need to tell them what the Delhi Government has done in the past two years. The Delhi Government work speaks for itself: They have directly benefitted from the subsidised electricity bills and free water schemes. Many are Masihgarh are residents are well impressed by our campaign,” said Khan.
An activist and educationist, Juhi Khan runs several schools in the locality aiming to provide quality educations, said her fans.
In ward number 101, Juhi Khan is up against Congress and BJP candidates. (advertorial)
