On January 25 JMI is going to organize a workshop on time management. The University Counseling & Guidance Centre, JMI in collaboration with Youth Empowerment Services (YES) is holding a workshop on Run Faster Than Time, a workshop on “Time Management” at 2.30 PM in the Committee Room of Nehru Guest House, Jamia Millia Islamia. On this day, chief economic advisor Dr Kaushik Basu is also to speak at Edward W Said Hall, Administrative Block, JMI, at 11 AM. Under its knowledge lecture series, the varsity is going to organize a special lecture on “Strategic Analysis for Policy Making: India in the Era of Globalization.” Dr. Basu is the Chief Economic Advisor, Ministry of Finance, Government of India and Professor of Economics and the C Marks Professor of International Studies, Cornell University, USA, claimed university release. Vice-Chancellor, JMI Najeeb Jung shall chair the lecture. On 23, the 6th Netaji Subhash Memorial was held. Netaji Subhash Bose – INA Trust organized 6th Netaji Subhash Memorial Lecture on “Desh Prem Divas” at FICCI Auditorium, Tansen Marg, New Delhi. Prof. Sanjoy Hazarika, Dr. Saifuddin Kitchlew Chair & Director, Centre for North East Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia delivered a Lecture on “Develop North East as a Launch Pad for Trade”. Kamal Nath, Minister of Urban Development, was the chief guest of the function and PS Ghatowar, Minister of DoNER, Government of India was the guest of honour on this occasion.
