Jamia Engineering Alumni Assoiciation (JEAA) in colaboration with ACM@IITD, the ACM Student-Chapter of IIT Delhi, is going to organize the Asia Cup, an Indo-Pak Coding Event on March 30, 2012. Any UG or PG student with good programmimg skills (C, C++ or JAVA) can participate by registering on the link www.cse.iitd.ac.in/~acm
IIT Delhi, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai are the participating institutes of this event in INDIA, while National Punjab University College of Information Technology-Lahore, Government College University-Lahore, National University of Computing Emerging Science- Lahore are the participating institutes in Pakistan, according to university release.
The ground rules for the battle of wits are: This competition is open only to students who are currently enrolled in any undergraduate course across India and Pakistan; Participation is restricted to 3 members each in a group and Plagiarism in any form will not be acceptable.

This event is part of the Aman Ki Asha project which aims to bridge relations between the two countries.
On the same day a public lecture by Wajahat Habibullah is to be held at the Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution on “Kashmir: Assessment of Peace and Reconciliation Initiatives” under M.K. Gandhi Chair Lecture Series.
Najeeb Jung, Hon.’ble Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia shall Chair this session.
Habibullah, Chairperson, National Minorities Commission, will speak at 3 PM in Tagore Hall, Dayar-I Mir Taqi Mir, Administrative Block, JMI.
