International workshop on 'Dark Energy'

The Centre for Theoretical Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize a 3-day International Workshop on ‘Dark Energy’ on December 21-23, 2011 at the Auditorium of FTK-Centre for Information Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia.
The workshop is divided into ‘Plenary Sessions’ and ‘Contributed Talks’ on the topics relevant to the theme of the workshop. It is expected to be attended by academicians, research scholars, scientists, decision makers, bureaucrats which will include Eric Linder (Berkeley California, USA), David Polarski (Univ. of Montpellier, France), Sandip Trivedi (TIFR, Mumbai, India), Alexandre Refregier (ETH, Zurich, Switzerland), Priya Natarajan (Yale, USA), Adam Amara (ETH Zurich, Switzerland), Alex Vikman (CERN, Switzerland), Gil Holder (McGill, Canada), David Perkinson (Queensland, Australia) , Bharat Ratra (Kansas, USA), Pengjie Zhang (Shanghai, China), etc.
The inaugural function of the workshop is scheduled to be held on December 21, 2011 at 9.45 AM in the Conference Room of FTK-Centre for Information Technology, JMI followed by high tea, claims university release.
