The Centre for Early Childhood Development and Research at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) organized a workshop on parents on September 14 and 21, in Mushir Fatima Nursery School.

In the workshop, significance of parent’s involvement both in school and at home was highlighted, according to university release.

The theme of the workshop was Importance of Parental Involvement. The workshop involved various interesting hands-on activities for parents to exhibit the role of active learning for children. A role play was also performed by students of Centre for Early Childhood Development to emphasize the role and ways of parental involvement for the child’s overall development.

The teachers of Mushir Fatima Nursery School, JMI also participated in the event. More than 100 parents participated in the event and enthusiastically shared their personal experiences and learning with the group, claimed the release.
