Final B.Ed paper ends at 1 PM, results out by 5 PM the same day

Demonstrating unparalleled efficiency, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) was able to declare the final results of its B.Ed. annual examinations on the same day on which the final paper was held, according to university official.
The B.Ed course is a one year long programme which is taught at the faculty of education at Jamia. There are 200 students enrolled in the course and it is a sought after one at Jamia, said media coordinator Simi Malhotra.
"It is a one year course for which the students appear in 6 papers. Today i.e. May 10 the students had their final paper in elementary Urdu which was held in the morning. The final paper ended at 1 PM and by 5 PM the results of the course were declared by the university and the final results of B.Ed, were displayed on the notice board of the department in the evening," said Malhotra.
This was made possible by the dedication of the staff at both the faculty of education and the office of controller of examinations. Both the offices worked very hard to make this possible and there was great coordination between the two offices, claimed the university release.
The task involves not just evaluation but also tabulation, checking etc and all this was done by both the departments in record time. The students were thrilled to know that their results were declared so quickly, it further added.
