All eyes on 3-day AlgoRhythm that begins from March 2

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) student chapter of the Computer Society of India is organizing its annual technical cum cultural festival, ‘AlgoRhythm’, which will be held from March 2 to 4.

An immensely awaited event, AlgoRhythm has worked its way to becoming one of the most successful college festivals of the country, according to university release.

Sponsored by Idea, GAIL, Hero Honda, ONGC, Pepsi, IBM, NTPC, 92.7 BIG FM etcetera in the past, the main attractions included car & bike stunt shows, rock shows, a model hunt and music concerts.

Packed with a many events, AlgoRhythm holds both technical, programming contests, paper presentations, robowars, and cultural events such as literary and quizzing competitions and a range of lounge events bringing up the total to 50 events spread across three days.

AlgoRhythm ’11 observed a footfall of 12,000 (approx) and this coming March, over 15,000 visitors are expected to attend this extravagant festival. Host to Kumar Vishwas last year, this edition will also feature, apart from the aforesaid events, a stand-up comedy act, street dance and a Qawwali performance.

MP Naveen Jindal and T. A. Khan, deputy-Director General of NIC were its guests in the previous editions.
