Jamia student Subina wins laurels

Qashang: A solo exhibition of Subina Gul was inaugurated on May 16, 2017 at MF Husain Art Gallery in Jamia Millia Islamia.


This exhibition has been conceptualised by Noman (Art Critic) who explained that the meaning of the title means “Beautiful”.

A student of MFA Painting she was born and brought up in Srinagar.

Her art works show the beauty of Kashmir whether it belongs to the positive side or whether to the negative.

The beauty of Kashmir comes out through her emotions. Her experience and wisdom are evident through her art work.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Registrar of Jamia Millia AP Siddiqui. Eminent personalities of the art field like, Faiyaz Dilbar and MK Raina, were also present on this occasion.

Also, many faculty member and students of Jamia were presented at the inauguration and gave encouragement to the artist to continue on her beautiful work.
