Jamia School attracts record applications

Iconic Jamia Millia Islamia School whose entrance exams for class IX and X were held a few days ago received a record number of applications after the admission process was made online. “The online process has helped many students from far away country to apply this time around. And the numbers of application have been impressive,” said an official.

The exam process of school is headed by Professor Akbar Hussain, chairman School Admission.

It is understood that more than 20,000 students applied for admission which is very high from last year when some 12,000 students had applied, said a source. The school is more than 96 years ole and was known across India for training students with innovative methods.

Moreover, in Jamia Nagar, a cluttered locality, Jamia School is the only one to have an open space for children.
