Jamia Professor dies of heart attack

Dr. Mohammad Ansar Alam, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia, died of heart attack a few hours ago today.

Confirming this news to the portal, Meraj, neighbour of Alam in Abul Fazal Enclave, said: “After he vomited we rushed him to Holy Family Hospital where doctors tried their best to revive him. After hour or so, he was declared dead. Had we got any idea that he had suffered heart attack, we would have taken him to nearby Apollo.”

Born on September 15, 1964, Alam was working as Assistant Professor (Special Education) in IASE, Faculty of Education.

The report of Alam’s death has been confirmed by other school teacher also.

Meraj said they are getting ready to take his body to his hometown in Bihar. He is brother of Professor Ishtiaq Ahmed, formerly Vice Chancellor of Magadh University and currently Professor at Jamia, said Meraj a claim that OT.COM was unable to verify independently.

    If someone ask or need something, he never said no and always help others. Allah unko Jannat ata farmaye aur unki family ko sabr ata farmaye..Amen!
