A metro ride in Okhla: How does Jamia look from metro? Video

Though metro is yet to get operational in Okhla, its trial run has been going on for months. How does Jamia Millia Islamia look from the metro? This is being debated after Mohd Tahseen Zaman, who is associated with the university, shared a video on his timeline getting a few comments too. Following which the video has been copied by many and parked on their timelines.

It is not known how he clicked the video as it is seen in the video that the train is coming from Maulana Jauhar Road and stops most probably at Batla House graveyard station with many people stepping out, mostly officials and technicians. The work for the metro is going on in high speed in the locality with staff members too being deployed.

The exact date of the operation of the metro is yet not announced. However, reports have surfaced that it might get operational from October. But official version is yet to come by. In Abul Fazal Enclave, the work is going with name place of the station too put on the staircase. Stickers too have surfaced of no parking area in front of the metro that unfortunately has been named Okhla Vihar. The initial inauguration of the Okhla Vihar metro had left many residents, including politicians and self proclaimed activists, baffled. And some among them had raised the issue as election was near then.

However, nobody is talking about the issue now.
