Jamia forms examination grievance committee, nominates five students

After the protest on the campus over delay in announcement of results a few days ago, Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia has constituted an examination grievance committee to look into the grievance of the students related to the examination and submit its report to him for further necessary action. This has been claimed in a university notice issued today.

In this committee, five Jamia students have been nominated by the Vice Chancellor to represent and mediate the student community, said student sources. Those on the committee included Sahil Ahmed, Zubair Choudhury, Khushboo Khan, Ateeb Khan and Mohammad Naqi.

Jamia officials are also on the committee with the Registrar being the chairman.

“It is a historic initiative in Jamia when students have been selected to represent the voices of whole student fraternity,” said a student.
