Jamia girl clears UPSC exam: Once again like the last year a girl has topped the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Examination 2015. Jamia too has its share with report surfacing that one of its former student too has make it to the list.
Duyu Kampu (25), who originally is from Arunachal Pradesh, has made it to the prestigious exams by securing 1034 all India rank.
After completing her schooling form Ramakrishna Sarada Mission School, Khonsa, she travelled to Delhi to do her graduation and post graduation, according to reports. After completing her graduation from Lady Sir Ram College with English Honours, she came to Jamia Millia Islamia from where she studied in the reputed Mass Communication Research Centre. It is understood that she took political science and international relation in UPSC exam.
Overall this year 9 students coached at Jamia’s Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) made it to the Civil Services. It is not known that how many are Jamia students. The result was confirmed by RCA’s deputy director Mohammad Tarique.
Besides, girls continue to be at the top position as Tina Dabi topped the 2015 civil services examination. Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan from Jammu and Kashmir managed to score the second position which in itself is a proud moment for the State.
