Battle against dengue: Jamia to spread awareness in Okhla

Battle against dengue: Jamia to spread awareness in Okhla. To create awareness about the preventive measures to be taken to curb the menace of vector- borne diseases such as dengue, chikungunya, malaria, etc.,

Registrar’s Office, Administration Branch, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) organised a meeting today with the officials of South Delhi Municipal Committee, faculty members, officials and Imams of Mosques in and around the university.
During the meeting, the Imams of mosques were urged to spread the message of preventive measures to be taken to control the vector-borne diseases.

The meeting was attended by Ishrat Amiruddin, MCD counsellor, Dr. RN Tuli, Deputy Health Officer – South Delhi Municipal Corporation, Professor Eqbal Husain, Assistant Provost, JMI, Saqib Aziz, Assistant Registrar (Admn), JMI among other officials of JMI and SDMC.
