Applications of private candidates rise in Jamia due to digitisation

Jamia Millia Islamia continues to cater to the interests of students from all communities, but also aims to meet the particular needs of the disadvantaged section of society. To cater the needs of education among the weaker section of society, Jamia conducts its exams in private mode also.

Jamia started the automation of exam system under the leadership of highly efficient Controller of Examinations Dr Amir Afaque Ahmad Faizi to provide better facilities to students and maintain transparency in the system. And the efforts made by Faizi has started yielding better results.

As a result an effort has been launched to start online submission of application forms of private candidates also for 2018 exams. “It is encouraging that as a result the number of applications received this year ie 2018 has been increased considerately in comparison to last year,” a senior university official told OT.COM.

The course wise statistics given below shows university`s efforts of digitization as encouraging and successful.

Achieving all these have not been easy and the full credit goes to the office of Controller of Examination which has worked round the clock to achieve the objectives.
