Candle march in Jamia against attack on Amarnath pilgrims

Candle march in Jamia against attack on Amarnath pilgrims.

After a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir that killed seven Amarnath pilgrims on Monday evening, protests and candlelight vigils have been held across the country. In Okhla too, Muslim organisations have condemned the dastardly act.

A few local groups, including Khudai Khidmatgar and some Jamia students, had taken out a candlelight vigil at Jamia Millia Islamia.

Now, reports have surfaced that a candlelight vigil is to be taken out today at Jamia at Ghalib to pay homage to the victims of Amarnath terror attack and in solidarity with the families of deceased and injured Shiv bhakts at 6:30 pm.
