Jamia alumnus holding top position at Catch News quits portal

A pass out of AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, Kunal Majumder has joined The Indian Express Group after quitting Catch News where he was one of its founding editors.

Majumder, who did his Master in Convergent Journalism, 2007- 2009, from Jamia, wrote on his Facebook as reported by exchange4media: “I have joined The Indian Express Group. We are trying to set up a small team of young multimedia journalists and multimedia-friendly writers.”

The Jamia alumnus was with Catch News since 2014 and was Editor-Operations & Speed News.
