Imam of Jamia’s grand mosque admitted to ICU: How is he now? Latest update

It was a few days ago when the Imam of Jamia Millia Islamia’s grand mosque was rushed to a local private hospital in Okhla after blood started oozing from his nose due to high blood pressure.

He was admitted to intensive care unit and an OT report had solicited many comments with everybody wishing him quick recovery.

“Maulana Qari Mohd Suleman Al Qasmi (sahib) is much better than before and may be shifted in ward today,” wrote Mohd Rehan Khan Qasmi.

High blood pressure is a deadly disease and needs regular monitoring and when left without treatment it can lead to deadly consequences. A few weeks ago, young Jamia’s Associate Professor had died.

On being enquired from his family members, it was told that the Professor was healthy save he suffered from high blood pressure. On that day too when he vomited he was rushed to a local hospital with family members unaware that he also suffered heart attack. He died in the hospital.

His family’s friends had told this portal that had they knew that he had suffered heart attack they would have rushed him to heart hospital rather than Holy Family.

Doctors strongly suggest people suffering from high blood pressure to take medicine on regular basis and get their blood pressure checked at regular intervals.
