Like every yea, the Human welfare foundation is running its Ramazan project 2017 and benefitting the needy across north Indian States.
Over 50,000 iftar kits have been distributed among poor and needy familiy during the holy month of Ramazan.
Iftar kit contains one month ration sufficient to 5-6 family members.
“We always remember our Rohangiyan brothers and their families during seasonal projects like Ramazan, Qurban and winter relief etc and benefitted them. This Ramadan we are providing iftar kits, group iftar and Eid gifts for thousands of rohangiyan refugees including women, girls and children. We are organinizing these events in Hydrabad, Jammu, Mewat, Faridabad and New Delhi.
“Yesterday we distributed 800 iftar kits in Hydrabad, Mewat and Jammu, today we are reaching in Faridabad, Haryana and benefitting hundreds of peoples residing in refugee camps,” said HWF in a statement.
Since 2012, HWF has been providing emergency relief to Rohangiyan refugees in camps near Delhi, including food distribution, basic medical support, and bamboo structure for school and others it said.
HWF is headquartered in Okhla.
