Hotmail founder and Imtiaz-e-Jamia winner Sabeer discusses use of tech for improving governance with Kejriwal

Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia on Monday called on the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat.

The use of technology in governance and to make governance better was also discussed in the meeting. Bhatia shared several ideas and discussions were held on them. Both agreed on use of the latest technology for swifter redressal of issues in several areas of governance.

Bhatia said they can be used in emergency situations as well as day to day functioning of departments like transport, water, traffic etc.

The Chief Minister asked Bhatia to give a detailed presentation on Thursday on use of technology for better governance. Sabeer Bhatia will present it to the cabinet and senior bureaucrats of Delhi government on Thursday at the Delhi Secretariat.
