The BJP’s National Secretary and East Delhi MP Maheish Girri on Friday had a meeting with PWD’s Engineer in Chief Sarvagya Kumar Srivastav for development works in East Delhi.
UTPEC’s high officials were also present in the meeting. The MP said all the works are very important. “Having these works completed, we will be able to give a better and comfortable environment to the public.” He said for the last few months, correspondence and meetings were being held for completion of all the works. The MP said the officials of both departments have been informed about the seriousness of all the issues and hopefully the department will take action on this considering the seriousness of the matter very soon.
MP Girri placed before the Engineer in Chief, PWD the pending works of construction of a 240-bed hospital in the Sarita Vihar, the work of beautification under the flyover located at Mayur Vihar Noida Link Road and under flyover at GT Road, extension of flyover at Ashram Chowk, construction of Kalandi bypass road from DND to Badarpur, construction of flyover on both sides of Seelampur and construction of new flyovers at Shastri Park, construction of new foot-over bridge near Living Style Malls at Jasola Okhla and new foot overbridges at Ali Vihar, Ghazipur, Urja Vihar and Madhuban Chowk Vikas Marg. And the MP also mentioned construction of Flyover on Seemapuri roundabout, etc.
In the meeting, Engineer in Chief Sarvagya Kumar Srivastava said with proper plan work would be started at earliest to complete all the pending works as mentioned by the MP.
